L’Espagne engage une régularisation migratoire d’ampleur inédite sous contrainte politique

Madrid, Spain, 27.01.2026.- The decree for the seventh regularization of immigrants in Spain, approved by the coalition government and Podemos, is a measure that will benefit some 500,000 foreigners. It also includes all those who have requested international protection, that is, those arriving fleeing countries at war and other situations of violence or discrimination that endanger their lives. This occurred after losing a vote in Congress. The pension reform was extraordinary, with the Popular Party (PP) voting against it, and its leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, considers the extraordinary regularization of migrants a new episode of political opportunism by Pedro Sánchez to cover up the Adamuz tragedy.
